It’s that time of year again! Are you ready to drag out your holiday decor and get in the holiday spirit?
Let’s get this holiday party started. Here are my 4 favorite holiday decor ideas to get you in the spirit!
Holiday Tree
The first thing is going to be the crown jewel of the living room, the Christmas tree! We have a small, broken tree… but we are too cheap to replace it so we are just going to make it work.
TIP: You do not have to replace your pre-lit tree if the lights stop working. Simply purchase strands of lights, wrap around the tree and you are back in business!
Once all the ornaments are attached we are ready to make the living room feel a little more festive.
2. Holiday Pillows
A few pillows and a holiday blanket can make a huge difference in your living room! I got some holiday pillows from Big Lot’s last year for under $15 and they are my new favorite “decoration”.

3. Holiday Bedding
Another first for me last year was getting holiday bedding.
I found really great and affordable holiday bedding at Big Lot’s last year. There is something so magical about crawling into your bed and wrapping up in a holiday pattern.

4. Holiday Kitchen
Last but not least. You might be spending a little more time in the kitchen during the holiday season. A quick way to add a little holiday spirit is to use holiday dish towels and a cute soap pump.

Conclusion
I use to think holiday decor was just a tree with some lights. As I’ve gotten older ( and wiser) I’ve realized there are a lot of little ways to incorporate the season into other areas of the home.
