Holiday Krispie Treat Recipe

Amazon recently sent me back some unsold inventory. It was a giant box of Rice Krispies. There are plenty of things you can do with unused inventory. My favorite is to EAT IT!
Let’s make some Holiday Krispie treats!
Ingredients
Stick of Butter
10 oz Small Marshmallows
4 cups Rice Krispies
Optional Salt
Sprinkles, I used Holiday colors
Optional frosting
Instructions
Melt stick of butter in large pan on low heat.
Once your butter is melted add 10 oz of small marshmallows and stir. I like to put the lid on and keep the heat low so the marshmallows don't burn. Stir frequently until melted and remove from heat.
In a large bowl, mix the 4 cups of Rice Krispy cereal with melted marshmallow. Fold the mixture together carefully.
Set mixture aside so it can cool for a few minutes.
Next, start adding your sprinkles to the mixture a little at a time, folding them in carefully.
Press your mixture into a pan and add any remaining sprinkles.
Set your treats aside so they can cool completely before you cut and enjoy!
TIP: My husband likes to add frosting to his treats.
