Big Lots makes up how much of this week’s shipment!? 69%!? A few days prior, I had been out sourcing and I had found several products that I can make a good profit from, leading me to the conclusion that today we would go on a tour of the Big Lots near me. Come along on our 3-hour tour.

Big Lots Tour

As you all know, I have made $600 my weekly sourcing goal. I have already found about $450 in profit this week meaning that I need to find about $150 more to hit my goal. I have 4 Big Lots to meander through today. We’re going to start with the Big Lots that is furthest away from my homebase working my way back home. I have a list of several household, pet and grocery items that we are specifically looking for.

In retrospect, the first Big Lots that we went to, had my greatest potential for profit. I was able to find a household item that I was looking for but to my dismay I came to learn that a lot of new people have purchased this item and have completely tanked the price.

This product did well for my last year, so I am banking on the price to rebound soon. Let’s just call this one a slight gamble. Worst comes to worst, I make $5 profit but hopefully I make as much as $15 from them. Lucky me and I found a low-ranked pet item and a couple of drink bundles. All together I found about $50 in profit from the first stop.

Now my second and third Big Lots of the day were not all that impressive on their own. From BL2 I just found the same drink mix bundles that I had found at the first BL location of the day. I should still profit about $21 dollars from that alone. BL3 was stocked with some of the pet items that I was looking for. As well as some of the household items… and you guessed it, more of the drink mix bundles! These should net me about $30.

Last but not least (well maybe it is actually the least) we went to the Big Lots closest to my launching point. After perusing the entire store, I have concluded that I already cleaned them out earlier in the week. I did notice though that the Christmas decorations are starting to roll out now, this just after all the Halloween decorations started coming out about a week or two ago. It's like the Nightmare Before Christmas inside Big Lots and I love it!

Conclusion

In some cases, if you find some items that net you a good profit, it may behoove you to do some extra legwork and hit the pavement to hunt down more of said items. Especially if it is at a store that is heavily abundant in just about every community. After I added everything together from the week, i.e. internet arbitrage and previous hunts from earlier in the week, I’ve accumulated about $688.71 net profit this week. We did it guys! And I don’t think that I could have done it without Big Lots this week.
