Last week didn’t seem to go as well as I had hoped it would for my first week of full-time Amazon arbitrage. This week I feel has better horizons in store. Today we are heading over to Livermoore where I have not been sourcing in quite a while.
On a side note I am giving Online Arbitrage another shot. I haven’t given it much attention in quite a while. We are at a shopping center that happens to have a Big Lots, TJ Maxx, Ross, and a Kohls. Come along friends.
Online Arbitrage
To get my feet wet again in the Online Arbitrage pool we started with just a few sites. Chewy, Kohls, Target, and Walmart. All together it turned out to be a good score for only a couple hours of scrolling and clicking. Everything together should profit around $150. More on this to come later.
A Little Shopping Center In Livermoore
Guess where we’re starting today? If you guessed Big Lots, you get a gold star! After spending only an hour and a half in there, I’ve got quite an impressive haul.I got everything from kitchen gadgets, pet products to baking mix and drink mix bundles. I even came across a few replens. $250 dollars was spent, with an expected profit of around $242.
After Big Lots we went on over to TJ Maxx where I scanned quite a few sections like beauty, groceries and the such but I didn’t have much luck. That is until I found a high ranked pet toy that I can profit almost $40 on! While I was shopping in here, I was auto-ungated on a few products. To get full access to my Auto-Ungate list go to janeattesteele.com for more details.
Lastly we drove all the way over (right next door) to Ross and Kohls. These stores were a bit of a sourcing dead-end. On the bright side, I managed to find a new Disney carry-on suitcase. Because Mickey. And because my old one’s handle completely fell apart.
Conclusion
Sometimes stores can feel like shining gold mines while others they can be dismal black holes. Thankfully today it was the former. Big Lots was the true shining star today with an almost 1:1 purchase to profit ratio. After the online and retail sourcing is added up I should profit about $415 today after spending $398. Today was a good day.
