Wake up at 6 am. Check. Teeth and hair brushed. Check. Morning coffee and affirmations that today is going to be a great day. Check.

Ready at Walmart for a full day of bargain hunting with a little me time sprinkled in. It really can be that easy sometimes when you’re retail sourcing.

Today I’ll be briefly taking you through my hunts and hauls at a few great stores to source your Amazon Retail Arbitrage.

A Retail Arbitrage Safari

First up we stop at Walmart at about 7am. We’re here first so that we can be at Target when they open at 8am.

I have allotted us 45 minutes to spend hunting through the wilds of Walmart. Walmart was more or less a bit of a bust today, though we were only able to find a couple of items that should net about $14.

Next adventure is through the more serene scapes of Target (Tarjjayy as I like to call it with their fancy carts.)

Today we’re focusing more on groceries. Peanut butter, cereal, bundles of crackers are just a few things that we found today.

Sometimes you may run across an item that you’re not sure if it is meltable or not. In those instances I recommend using IP alert.

Our Target jaunt should net about $72 for about 90 minutes of hunting.

After Target we head over to the more technologically advanced outpost known as Staples. Straight to the clearance section we go.

We were lucky enough to stumble across a highly rated game that Amazon isn’t selling yet. I got 3 of those and they should net a good profit. Sometimes a random thing like labels can be a nice little gem. Remember not to overlook even the most mundane items. Staples should score about $58 net profits.

Finally we head to the oft unkempt land of deals, Big Lots. Big Lots usually has a lot of great deals on beauty products. You just may have to do some extra digging here. Big Lots a lot of times has great and unexpected gift packs/bundles or holiday bundles that I took advantage of today.

Conclusion

There are just about always deals to be had almost everywhere you go. Always be on safari!

Frequently asked questions -

What are gated products? It simply means that Amazon puts selling restrictions on certain categories, subcategories, or brands. This prevents new sellers from jumping in and selling these products before they get approved. So, when we say “ungated on Amazon”, we simply mean that you have approval to sell those goods. - greendropship.com

What is an IP Alert on Amazon? IP (Intellectual Property) Alert warns users of potential IP claims on Amazon Product Detail Pages. The IP Alert extension will trigger a pop-up as well as a flashing red siren near the brand name on an Amazon Product detail page. The brands that are triggered have been crowd-sourced by fellow Amazon sellers and are updated regularly. - chrome.google.com
