Recently I let you know that I wouldn’t be sourcing because I would be out doing subcontractor work…
How quickly things can change!
Great Start
The first day on the job went awesome! I’ve done this job before so I was feeling really confident and relaxed.
I also really, really love doing this work! LOVE!
Things took a turn
On day 2 I got a call from my client saying all my sites had been CANCELLED! I was certain it must be a mistake! But it wasn’t.
Altogether I had 39 locations I needed to visit but only wound up going to 8.
No sites = No money!
Things got worse!
After getting the news about my cancelled sites I spent my time working on another route I had scheduled for August.
That is when things got worse!
I got a call that my August route was postponed until October.
Conclusion
Although this is a bummer, I realize sh*t happens and it is out of my hands.
Will I feel sad and eat my feelings?! Oh yea!
At the end of the day I truly believe that things work out the way they are supposed to and this just wasn’t meant to be right now.
